Delete your Autova account

You can permanently delete your Autova account and the data attached to it at any time. Here's how — and exactly what we erase when you do.

From inside the app (fastest)

Open Autova on your phone, then go to Profile → Delete my account. Type DELETE when prompted to confirm. This permanently removes your account and all data — there is no undo and no waiting period.

Don't have access to the app anymore?

Email support@autova.app from the address linked to your account. We'll verify that you own the account and then delete it within 30 days — typically within 48 hours.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently erase everything tied to it, including:

  • Account & profile — email, name, phone, avatar, and login credentials.
  • Vehicles — every car and motorbike, with plates, VINs, photos, odometer history, and expiry dates.
  • Maintenance log — scheduled items, completed services, intervals, and the garages they were performed at.
  • Fuel log — every fill-up, station, octane, cost, and the efficiency numbers calculated from them.
  • Expenses — parking, tolls, fines, insurance, accessories, and any receipt photos attached.
  • Trips — planned and recorded trips, routes, fuel cost snapshots, and notes.
  • Emergency requests — past SOS calls, vendor conversations, and battery purchases.
  • Community activity — posts, comments, poll votes, likes, and any communities you created.
  • Photos — vehicle photos, receipt photos, and any images you uploaded.
  • Notifications— every reminder, alert, and ping we've ever sent you.

A few things to know first

  • Deletion is permanent.We can't restore an account after it has been deleted — back up anything you want to keep before you start. Profile → Settings → Export data gives you a JSON snapshot of your records.
  • Subscriptions are your responsibility. If you purchased a paid plan through the App Store or Google Play, cancel it in those stores too — deleting your Autova account does not cancel a store subscription.
  • Backups roll off within 30 days.We may retain encrypted backups for a short period for disaster recovery only. They're purged automatically and never re-imported into a live account.
